Sierra Tequila Gold is available in over 90 countries around the world and is still traditionally produced in Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is produced in the family-run distillery “Destilería Sierra Unidas”, which is located on the grounds of an old hacienda in Guadalajara – the capital of tequila. The complex production process – careful handwork, selected agaves from the Mexican state of Jalisco and a gentle double distillation in copper kettles – consistently sets the highest standards.
After distillation, Sierra Tequila Gold is stored in bourbon barrels for up to nine months, giving it its golden color and complex aroma. Gold is the most popular type of tequila in Mexico. The freshness and irresistible fruitiness of Sierra Tequila Gold is underlined by soft vanilla and caramel notes as well as aromatic spice accents.
