Escudo Rojo Grand Reserva – 75cl

Description

Escudo Rojo Grand Reserva is a blended wine made from five different grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon (39%),  Cabernet Franc (6%) , traditional Bordeaux varieties, gives refinement and tannic power, while Carmenere (39%), Syrah (9%) and Petit Verdot (7%) bring body, density and a touch of spice.

The wine is matured in 25% new and 75% 1-2 year old barrels for 12months.

Very intense and fruity with notes of black fruits like blackberry, blackcurrant and fig as well as dried fruits such as prune and dried cherry, mingled with delicate spicy notes of black pepper and rosemary and well integrated toffee and coffee thanks to aging in French oak barrels.
